McCurdy Christmas Party, Larchmont Yacht Club
The Christmas Season has begun with the annual McCurdy Christmas Party!
It was a beautiful day with a beautiful view.
Sophia, Lily and Lily were the cutest together, all in red.
Pat and Chrissy were very successful in the Yankee Swap;
Mostly due to Chrissy.
Uncle Joe received a personalized gift, which was actually very popular...
It was stolen a few times, and ended up with Dad!
Who wouldn't want this on their wall!?
Aunt Barbara picked some pomegranate liquour;
And Lily picked a perfect Snowman cookie jar.

Easter Egg Hunt
This year Julie and I did an Easter Egg Hunt for Mom, Dad and Steve.
Dad found his basket right away!
Mom's looking up, but Steve is looking down...
Yoink!
Heh heh, nice Steve!
Mom has to catch up!
Because she also missed these two (one is in the barrel).
In the end Steve came in first with the most points, but he and Mom were tied for finding the most eggs. And Mom won the Grand Prize by solving the clue leading to it's hiding place. We all had a lot of fun! And then ate a wonderful Easter Dinner.

Lily's Ukranian Easter Eggs
On the day before Easter Lily and I went to Mom's house for a lesson on Ukranian Easter Egg Coloring. Lily made 4 impressive eggs.
She was a very good student, and Mom was a great teacher.

Mom's Birthday Cake
Mom's Birthday was a super party! Here is the cake that we enjoyed!
This cake was made by my friend Brett, who is an expert Cake Maker, as well as a first-class waiter at The Black Seal.
Happy Birthday Mom!
Here is what the inside looked like. It was orange scented yellow cake and Chocolate Genoise, with Raspberry Bavarian Creme filling and Raspberry Chambourd layer filling. IT WAS THE BEST CAKE EVER!!

Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Matt and Lindsay
Dad and George
Isabelle, Lindsay and Katie have a surprise event for us!
In this round our models are dressed in the seasons newest fashions; Lindsay is ready for a night on the town with reflective blue hair to keep her safe from traffic, complimented by the sequined evening gown; her floral shawl will keep the chilly night air off her shoulders.
Katie is wearing the latest in active wear, featuring lightweight and breathable pants that shimmer! for that special touch, accented by her sequined headband; please notice the contrasting colors which indeed create a sense of fitness. Her jump rope, when not in use, can be tucked away into the pocket of her coat.
Izzy is dressed for an afternoon shopping expedition: her shoes will undoubtably keep her shopping longer due to their cushioned soles, and the lack of laces will cut down on all delays caused by untied shoes. The poodle skirt will provide quick dressing room trips as it is easy to change in and out of, and in fact doesn't even have to be on straight to look right! The vest keeps her arms light, which will allow her to move through the racks with lightening speed! Mobility is key! And don't think her hat is just for looks! It's both beautiful and functional, by blocking her peripheral vision it maintains her focus, and will also provide a legitimate excuse for bumping into people when racing to get there first. She really won't see them.
And now we're off to collect the eggs!
15 eggs in all!
It's time for dinner!
The Dining Table
Mom's Homemade Centerpiece
Mom's Turkey!
The Food Table, from the bottom left: turkey, stuffing, garlic smashed potatoes (by Julie), sweet potatoes with a marshmallow top, creamed onions, Indian Pudding, Russel's Snouts, and the awesome baked brie that Marnie brought.
After dinner we sat...
and sat...
and sat!
And now it's time for dessert! Apple, pecan or pumpkin pie!
