Weird Spider
On a short walk yesterday we found this really weird looking spider! George says it's called a Crab Spider, or something like that.

Hey! Dave and I first became facinated with those spiders our first time in Florida, although I have never been able to get such a good photo of them. (Despite having tried a zillion times while Dave waited patiently.) At the time we were with Dave's cousin Aaron, who worships insects, but also to a lesser degree arachnids. He told us the latin name at the time, but I have completely forgotten, so we call them crab spiders! I don't know if that is really what they are called, but if they aren't, they should be.

I got these photos from various spider websites. I don't think that that is a crab spider. But crab spiders are pretty cool. Check it out.
Supposedly their color depends on their hunting environment. Pretty neat, huh?
